Only a couple of weeks now to the summer holidays, keep strong!
Please find attached Bassetlaw Museum's programme of activities for the summer holidays. As always, all our activities are FREE for all families.
The big event this summer is The Roaring 20s, where the museum will be immersed in the Jazz era by a live band, dancing and costumes. A real experience and a chance to see genuine 1920s dresses from our collection.
The museum are delighted to be working with several partners this year, including the UK Atomic Energy Authority who will be providing exciting science activities. They are also thrilled to welcome back the CHAOS roadshow, volunteer students from Cambridge University who bring science to life!
There are themed activities to the Panto in the Park events with the Notts Wildlife Trust providing Alice but Wilder! Activities and The Family Hubs creating Mermaids on the 28 August.
There are live shows with a time travelling Baron and a singer at our Garden Party and of course our usual fun crafts and Lego Days.
Have a lovely summer break when it finally arrives.
